God Hopes That Mankind Can Continue to Live
Intro
God despised mankind
because man showed Him hostility,
but His care for man remained unchanged,
so did His mercy for humanity.
Even when God destroyed mankind,
His heart remained unchanged.
Verse 1
When humanity was full of corruption
and disobeyed God to a grievous extent,
on principle God had to destroy them
because of His disposition and essence.
Pre-chorus
Still God pitied mankind, wanted to redeem them,
so that they could live on, all because of His essence.
Chorus 1
But man opposed God, continued to defy Him,
did not accept His good intentions, salvation.
No matter how God called to them, reminded them,
supplied them, helped them, or tolerated,
man did not understand or pay any attention,
nor did they show any appreciation.
Verse 2
Even in pain, God granted man great tolerance,
He still waited for man their course to reverse.
But once He reached the limit of His patience,
God did what He had to do without hesitation.
Chorus 2
So there was a set time and process from the moment
God planned to destroy man to starting the action.
This process existed so man could change course,
and this was when God gave man their last chance.
